In response to Charlie K How I Met Your Mother

I agree with a lot of what Charlie said. This episode does show how smoking and other things can be addicting and hard to quit. But I think another thing that this episode shows the pressure of peer pressure. Also shows how addictions can become part of your life and even take over your life.

First this episode shows the pressure of peer pressure. Peer pressure is something as Christians we are always saying not to fall for, However we rarley realize is just how hard it is to say no when put in the situation. This is much like of life’s with Christ we are always fighting off the devil(peer pressure) or sin but we realize how hard it is to say no to something that really tempts us.

Second this episode does a really good job of showing just how addictions become part of you. For example it becoms part of brushing their teeth and part of their work schedule. Addictions are much more than being addicted they become your life and can if not handled right away they can overcome your life. Again as christians we could relate this to us living in christ and the devil and sin. If were not careful we can let sinful acts take over or even ruin or life’s. Which is why we are taught at a very young age to repent instantly after commiting a sin.

That’s what I beleive this episode of How I Met Your Mother r can be related to our fight as christians and to the real world which I believe is a very unique thing to find in T.V.
